Starting Point: Spital Hill

// Walk down Spital Hill
// Join the Wicker
// Under Wicker Arches
// Under Five Weirs Walk metal archway
// Follow Five Weirs Walk along the River
// Turn right onto Attercliffe Road
// Turn right down the footpath
// Turn right onto Stoke Street
// Cross Effingham Road
// Go straight over onto Bacon Lane
// Left off the bridge and join the Canal
// Head left along the Canal
// Follow the Canal until Victoria Quays
// Leave the Quays and cross the road

Accessibility

Please note that not all areas of the Blue Loop are fully accessible. The path along the Five Weirs Walk by the River Don is entirely accessible to those with restricted mobility although some sections do involve footpaths alongside roads. The towpath along the Tinsley Canal varies in width and quality. There are also steps in certain places.
