Start Point: Darnall Community Park

// Turn left and walk along Darnall Road
// Climb the steps to the left of aqueduct
// Join the Canal
// Head left along the Canal
// Walk up the ramp to Bacon Lane
// Turn right and cross the bridge
// Cross over Effingham Road
// Walk along Stoke Street
// Turn left down the footpath
// Turn left onto Attercliffe Road
// Turn left onto the Five Weirs Walk
// Cross Stevenson Road
// Cross Attercliffe Roads
// Walk down Worksop Road
// Reach the aqueduct

Accessibility

Please note that not all areas of the Blue Loop are fully accessible. The path along the Five Weirs Walk by the River Don is entirely accessible to those with restricted mobility although some sections do involve footpaths alongside roads. The towpath along the Tinsley Canal varies in width and quality. There are also steps in certain places.
